Obituary of Michael John Diamond

Michael John Diamond, 25, born March 22, 1993, beloved son, brother, godchild, nephew, cousin and friend to many passed away on April 30, 2018.

Michael John was the spirit of life, always smiling, laughing and bringing smiles and laughter to others.  He enjoyed life and his life was cut short.  A life long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Michael graduated from Immanuel Lutheran Grade School, Shoreland Lutheran High School and ultimately earned a Bachelors Degree from Valparaiso University graduating with high honors.  Outside of his love of life and history, there was nothing Michael loved more than a day on the ski slopes in Utah or Colorado.He also loved a great movie or a fun concert with his brothers and friends.  An employee of Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation, Michael was a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, after graduating college, in the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio.

He will always be loved and dearly missed by his parents, Paul and Marla Diamond of Wadsworth, IL and his beloved brothers, Christopher (Julie) Diamond of Lake Forest, IL and Zachary Diamond.

Michael was preceded in death by both his grandmothers, Esterle Cobourn and Edna Maxwell.  Michael will be laid to rest next to his beloved Grammy.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 4, 2018, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1310 Frolic Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085, from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
