Obituary of Marilyn Ann Davis

Marilyn A. Davis, 86, of Winthrop Harbor, passed away April 24, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born in Kenosha, WI on May 11, 1931, the dauther of Mathias and Marie Jensen Gapko. On July 1, 1950, she married Stanley Milton Davis in Kenosha, WI. He preceded her in death in 2001.

Marilyn was employed with Abbott Labs for over 30 years. Following retirement, she enjoyed helping raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was everything to Marilyn.

Surviving Marilyn are her two children, Suzanne “Jill” Roskres, Jackie Hazard, along with her 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and her friends.

Visitation will be held at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL, on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5p.m. until the time of service at 7p.m.. Interment service will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10.a.m. at Oakdale Cemetery.
