Obituary of Keith L. Hanson

Keith Lesker Hanson, age 60, of Waukegan, IL, passed away at home on April 21, 2018.

He was born on October 21, 1957 in Waukegan, the son of Jesse L. and Ludie M. Hanson. Keith was educated in Waukegan public schools and graduated from Waukegan High School in 1975.  He was employed by Johnson Motors and later International Envelope. Keith was an avid sports fan and followed the Bears and White Sox closely.  He played in many summer baseball and softball leagues around the area.  One of his fondest memories was attending the 2005 World Series.  He also enjoyed fishing and golf.

His parents preceded Keith in death.  He is survived by his daughter, Christina (David) Bawcum of Wadsworth, IL, a brother Delwin (Linda) Hanson of Roseville, CA, his grandchildren, Annabelle, Tessa, Juliette and David Jr., his nephews, Eric (Aura) Hanson of Roseville, CA and Christopher (MaryAnn) Hanson of Vallejo, CA.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 11:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Keith to Nicasa’s Bridge House 31979 N. Fish Lake Rd. Round Lake, IL 60073.
