Obituary of Wilma Van Treeck

Wilma Lorene Van Treeck, 70, of Zion, IL, passed away on November 3, 2012, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. Wilma was born March 8, 1942, in Abingdon, IL, to Elmer and Wilma (Dove) File. She married Louis Van Treeck Sr., August 15, 1978. Wilma was a homemaker and a Charter member of the Zion Township Lions Club. Survivors include her husband, Louis; two daughters, Rose (Brad) Bonnell of Mendota, IL, and Robin Farris of Richmond, VA; three sons, John (Karrie) Willett, Steve (Leslie Fleck) Willett, both of Zion, IL, and Joe (Jennifer) Willett of Kenosha, WI; three stepsons, Louis Ray Van Treeck Jr., Eugene Van Treeck, and Les Van Treeck; two stepdaughters, Elvine and Lucila; four sisters, Irene (Don) Simpson of La Moille, IL, Myra Glover of Sandwich, IL, Jane (Bill) Haws of Dixon, IL, and Teresa (Curt) Dorsey of South Wayne, WI; one brother, Louis File of Holmen, WI; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Jerry Hild Jr. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday , November 12, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the family or to the Zion Township Lions Club.
