My sincere condolences to the family. Please know that "God is a refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress."(Psalms 46:1). In the future so near , Jehovah God and his son Christ Jesus will provide permanent comfort when "Death will be swallowed up forever...' and “--He will wipe away all tears from all faces.(Isaiah 25:8, Rev 21:3,4). With the resurrection of the dead, the sorrow for your loved one will be completely gone!

My deepest sympathy for you the Lee Family. I know that Shannon and his dad are in Heaven celebrating together. Praise the Lord. Man Shannon could play softball!! He had an arm (back in the day), that could get the ball where he wanted it to go and fast! And Batting - he could put the ball where he wanted it to go as well. Who knows, maybe Shannon is at Roger's volleyball games and Roger is at Shannon's softball games :-) Shannon was always respectful of his parents, very nice to see, kind and loving toward them. I enjoyed talking with him and his parents on several occasions at what Elvie calls the "big house", but in my mind it was a cozy cabin. All of you Lee's have such a special part in Elvie's heart. Shannon was very Blessed to live with your parents for as long as he did, and what a wonderful family to care for Shannon these last couple of years. You Lee's have really been a witness to those around you, especially to those your mother knows and talks with. May God give you all peace, love and a closeness that your family has never known before, during this season of your lives.
