Obituary of Eleanor Neeve

Eleanor M. "Sis" Neeve, 82, of Zion, Illinois, entered heaven on Monday, October 29, 2012. Eleanor was born May 18, 1930, in Kenosha, WI, and married her late husband Richard "Buzz" Neeve on August 30, 1946. She was a member of the Christian Assembly of God Church in Zion. Eleanor was a loving and adoring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved reading, playing board games and family time. She was a devoted teacher of God's word throughout her life. Survivors include here children, Peggy (Tom) Minor of Beloit, WI, Richard (Judy) Neeve of Lake Villa, IL, Linda (Mike) Adamek of Beach Park, IL, Susan (Randy) Miller of Round Rock, TX, and John Neeve of Hot Springs, AR; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth (Delores) Schroeder and Norman (Joan) Schroeder; sister, Connie Bishop; nieces and nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1990; daughter, Dorothy Schwarz; sister, Marsha Beck; and parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Schroeder. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1,2012, at Christian Assembly of God, 2929 Bethel Boulevard, Zion, IL with the memorial service following at noon. The family is suggesting that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Christian Assembly food pantry or a food pantry of your choice.
