I know he was greeted at heavens gate with "Well done thy great and faithful servant."May your memories bring comfort at his homecoming. I know He will be greatly missed. I shed some tears today thinking about my special uncle Don. His Faith, love, and encouraging attitude was a source of inspiration to me and all who knew him. May he now enjoy heaven’s peace (and a heavenly pickup football game with Rob as his teammate!). Love you guys forever, and love to all the family.
To the LaBelle children: Gene and I are so sorry for the loss of your father. He was a great, gentle man who loved his family very deeply. I loved to hear Uncle Don and his boys sing together. He had a beautiful voice. Again, we are very sorry for your loss. Sorry we can't be there for you but are in our prayers and thoughts.
