Dorothy and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Peter's passing. I am not sure if you remember me but my father and I lived two houses down in Fremont. I have amazing childhood memories because of Peter and the kindness he had shown my father and I. I loved going on walks and bike rides up and down the back roads with him. Fishing, the dinners and little visits we had, always a treat. Both of you were like a bonus set of grandparents! He was a terrific soul, truly one of a kind.
I feel horrible for not being able to pay my respects in person tomorrow but my father will be present. I just wanted to drop a small note in hopes that it reaches you. I am so sorry for your loss, although, I know everyone has great memories of him they can turn to. I still have some of his woodworking master pieces, I'll smile and think of the good times when I see them now.
