Obituary of Hilda Gomez

Hilda Gomez, age 58 of Zion, IL, passed away on January 17, 2018 at Vista Medical Center East surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 2, 1958, the daughter of the late Pedro N. and Angelita Gonzalez Martinez. She was educated in the schools of Milwaukee, WI and later moved to Waukegan, IL.  On May 4, 1978 she was united in marriage to Miguel Gomez in Waukegan, IL.

Surviving Hilda is her husband Miguel of 39 years; son, Pedro A. Mosqueda; brothers and sisters, Dalia Villa Fuerte, Arthur (Anne) Martinez, Rosa (Alex) Garcia, John (Michele) Martinez, Ignacio (Esperanza) Martinez, and Linda Butchko. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL on Sunday January 21, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Monday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery Chapel.
