Mrs. Haapanen was one of my favorite teachers as I was growing up. She taught with such patience and good humor, and I try to carry that with me into the classroom every day! Bless you and your family during this sad time.
We have so many fond memories of our "2nd Mom" Irene and our families together. She truly was one of a kind.
