Obituary of Joellyn Pohlman

Joellyn Pohlman (nee Greenfield), 56, of Beach Park, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 with her family by her side. Joellyn was born May 29, 1956 in Waukegan and lived in the area throughout her life. She enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader. Nothing meant more to Joellyn than her children, family and friends. Joellyn is survived by her husband, Ken Pohlman; three children Keith Cartwright, Monica Pohlman, and Jacqellyn Cartwright; numerous grandchildren; sister Sherllyn (Glenn) Pohlman; and special niece Kirstillyn. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Joseph and Ruth Greenfield; one son Clint Cartwright; and one daughter Cynthia Pohlman. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
