Hello my name is Gloria and I am writing to share a message of hope. First of all let me start off by saying I am sorry for your loss. Dear Jeanne and Family,
My sincerest sympathy on the loss of your husband and father. My husband and I and three daughters lived in the house that abutted your yard in Waukegan. But I really got to know you Jeanne when I had the good fortune to work at the personnel department in the Waukegan Sears. You were so patient and understanding and couldn't have been nicer to work with. May your 71 years of memories and love sustain you and give you peace. God bless you.
Sincerely,
Nancy Vaseloff

It has been my pleasure to know Wil for many years. First I knew him as a sailing friend at Great Lakes NTC harbor and later I had the privilege of being the pastor of his church. I enjoyed the tour of their house in Waukegan as the first 'green house' I was privileged to learn about and see. He was always a blessing to those he worked with and it was my blessing to be one of those for several years.

I am so sorry to hear of Wil's passing. He and Jeanne were my neighbors, or I should say I was THEIR neighbor :-), for several years just before they moved to Rolling Hills and I've missed them since then. Wil really didn't want to move, but it was getting hard for him to work in his beautiful garden anymore, and it really was beautiful. The tulips that came up in the Spring were abundant, and the daffodils I could see from my kitchen window - gorgeous! He was a great guy, and a lovely neighbor to have. Sending my condolences to the family and big hugs to Jeanne.

Your father's obituary is a wonderful testament to a very interesting, courageous and accomplished man. You must be proud of all he has done; and yet sad that he has moved on to his reward. He has three wonderful adult children to carry on his legacy and I'm sure you will all make him proud as you move forth in your own lives. My sympathy and condolences on WiL's passing.
