Obituary of Elvira Shrader-Stokes

Elvira Shrader-Stokes, passed from this life, on October 27, 2017 in Zion, IL.

Surrounded with love, at home in her final moments where she wanted to be with her grandkids, ‘little darlings’ Hunter, Levi and Ryah, playing as kids do.  

We tried to quiet them by saying, “Shh, Gigi is resting,” and she reponded, “No, I like hearing them, it makes me forget.”

She took her last breath with her daughter; Anita, and granddaughters; Jackie and Brooke, holding her as she left us to join her son; Bill, and husband; Chester.  May you go rest high with Mom and Dad, Chester and Bill, as your daughters; Anita and Susie, granddaughters; Jackie, Brooke and Alicia, grandson; William, and siblings; Joe (Jackie) Atmanavicius of AZ, Pete (Roberta) Ataman of NM, and Leonora (Dave) Scukanec of IL, remember you in the most loving way.

We will put you to rest with Bill, Chester and other beloved family, high on the family mountain in West Virginia.

Our love is without end.  Amen.
