Kimmy – I was so sorry to hear that your father passed. Losing a parent has a meaningful way of changing a child’s outlook on the rest of their life. Please try to set aside a few moments in the days ahead to celebrate his life and remember all the good times you shared with your father. The memories of all the love he gave you throughout the years should never be forgotten. My hope is that you will be comforted by that thought that he is not truly gone, as he will live in your heart and be watching over you forever. Hopefully the grieving and tears you are experiencing today will soon be replaced with smiles brought on by fond memories.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Warmest Regards,
Ken

I am saddened by the loss of Bobby Thrasher. I played guitar for him in the early and late 80s. I learned a lot from Bobby about the history of rock'n roll. He shared his knowledge generously. I loved playing with Bobby and Foxfire. When Larry Booth informed me of Bobby's passing I listened to a recording I have of Bobby, me, and Foxfire. It touched my heart. Although the miles kept us apart (I live in Oak Ridge, Tennessee), I still miss him. My condolences to his family and friends.

Bobby was always a pleasure to know and to work with. He was the kind of guy that you couldn't help but love. I was the original bass player and a founding member with Bobby in Foxfire Band. The greatest times and memories that I have are playing in the band with Bobby. We traveled and played many places around the mid-west area. Bobby will forever be remembered by me.
