Obituary of Rebecca Freeman

In Loving Memory of  Rebecca Freeman 

Rebecca Freeman, 47, of Vernon Hills, IL, died September 19, 2017.

Rebecca was born February 4, 1970.  Her joys in life were her children and family, Alabama music, cats, dogs, birds, guinea pigs, minions, the Chicago White Sox, college football, and chotchkies.  Becky lived her life with love, tenderness, and compassion.  She found joy in life through motherhood, sisterhood, and giving her whole heart to her dear friends and family. Becky formed close relationships with her teachers at Stevenson High School where she graduated with her diploma in 1988.  Her genuine and loving heart radiated an unwavering love for her children as well as for her niece and nephew, and her gentle nature paved the way to experience love and laughter to the fullest.  Becky’s voice will forever be heard singing, “I believe there are angles among us” and her angelic spirit will remain embedded in our hearts forever more.

Becky is survived by her partner Scott, sister Mary L. Allen, niece Jennifer L. Allen, nephew Christian W. Allen, and extended family members who love and adored her.  She is proceeded in death by her son James A. Freeman, daughter Amanda K. Freeman, and brother Johnathon Freeman.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on October 6th, 2017 at 7:30pm at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.  In lieu of flowers a contribution to the family would be appreciated.
