Obituary of Ronald Knodel

Ronald A. Knodel, 77, of Kenosha, WI and formerly of Waukegan, IL, died September 18, 2017.

Ronald was born January 28, 1940 in Waukegan, IL.  He was an avid cribbage player and was known to roll a few dice.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors with his family.

Ronald was survived by seven sons, Rich, Gene (Valerie), Pat (Jonell), Mike (Jeanne), Randy (Patty), Kevin (Sarah), and Jeff; nine grandchildren, Shannon (Brad Stone), Kaitlyn, Kylie, Heather, Hydee, Wesley, Megan, Layla, and Hayden; a great-grandson Declan; one brother, Don; one sister Linda Bartlett; and several nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father and mother, Arthur and Harriet Knodel; and his former wife, Toni Knodel.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Winthrop Harbor VFW, 1112 Sheridan Rd, Winthrop Harbor, IL.
