Obituary of Terry Lee Melton

Terry Lee Melton Sr, 57, of Newbury, VT passed away September 15, 2017 surrounded by loving family.  Terry was born August 13, 1960 in Waukegan, IL.  He met and married Merilee Ryan on August 22, 1986 in Waukegan at the justice of the peace.  He was self employed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 31 years, Merilee; children, Terry Lee Melton Jr., Cessilee F. Franks, Ryan W. Melton, Adam J. Melton, Wilma E. Melton, Joy D. Castaneda, Jacquelyn D. Rosado Sanchez, Jesse D. Rosado and Karina Castaneda; grandchildren, Ruben, Daniel, Rogeilia, Marc, Alec, Nicolas, Jocelyn, Johnathan, Jordan, Connor, Kylee and AJ; great grandchildren, Selena, Avery and Ruben Jr., beloved by his siblings Gayle Melton, Jimmy Melton and Riley Melton; special niece, Katrina Melton and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Jim and Wilma Melton; brother, Jerry Melton; sister, Peggy Roberts; and special nephew Jimmy Escobar.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099.  Interment will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.  Memorial contributions to the family would be appreciated.
