Obituary of Albert Lee Robinson

Mr. Albert Lee Robinson, 82, of Highland Park IL, went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2017.

Born July 22, 1935 to Mr. Lilton and Mrs. Mary Robinson in Greenville MS, he later moved to Waukegan IL where he was employed at Johns Manville, Sara Lee, Lake Bluff Healthcare and Hill Top Center where he retired in 2000.  He joined First Fellowship Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Luther.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Carl (Dorothy) Robinson of Zion IL, Denice Robinson of Rock Hill SC, Albert Robinson Jr. of Waukegan IL; grandchildren, Vernon G. Williams Jr., and Alexis V. Williams of Gurnee IL, Jerome T. Robinson and Jevon T. Robinson of Waukegan IL; sister, Ethel Mae (Jessie) Jones of Greenville MS; special nephew, Derrick Jackson; special cousins, Ruth Harris and Willie Ridley; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary (nee Loyd) Robinson; father Lilton Robinson; brothers, Mack Robinson, Lilton Robinson Jr. and sister Dorothy Mae Jackson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 10:00 until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion IL, Pastor John McBride officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion IL.
