The days are not as sunny nor the nights as serene since Dave has passed. David was the real deal a true guys guy that loved his family and his country. He was brilliant and humble and ever so stubborn. His love of life was contagious and his laughter a delight. His opinions most often did not jive with mine but he would take his time to explain clearly why his idea or thought was right and more times then not he was right. He was a great teacher of life lessons and I will sorely miss his scarism and wit. His appreciation and musings on things in life was one of his many wonderful talents. We saw the best and we saw the worst of each other. I am hoping his voice remains in my head always. He was a believer so the journey he is now on will take him home. It is with a heavy heart that I have to say good bye.

Had a few interesting conversations with David, who was an extremely intelligent man...and who I knew through Stephanie Prest, who dearly loved him and had wonderful things to say about him. May he rest in peace.
