Obituary of John E. Anderson

John E. Anderson, May 5, 1944-April 16, 2017. I was born May 5, 1944 in Waukegan, living my entire life in Lake County. I retired from Lake County Highway Department after many years of service. Enjoyments included fishing, classic cars, and Sunday’s (ice cream) Socials. Surviving me, my fiancé, best friend and loving companion, Kathy Miller, I have two children, John T. Anderson of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Elizabeth “Betsy” R. Anderson of Kenosha, WI. I leave remembering my son, brother LeRoy (Diane) Anderson of Bristol, sister Kathleen (Henry) Burger of Manitowoc, and sister Mary (Marty) Gust of Somers for their generous backing to find alternative cancer treatments. Extended family I have include Robin (John) Stewart, Rene Horton, Ryan (Christine) Horton as well as grandchildren; Emily, Austin, Megan, Jocelyn, Landen and many nieces and nephews and grand dog, “Otto”. I am preceded in death by my parents, Elmer Anderson and Elizabeth (Lange) Anderson and stepmother, Margaret (Burba) Anderson. I would like a going away party at the Zion Benton Moose which will be held Saturday April 22nd at 1:00 p.m.. Bring a story to tell and remember the good times.
