I remember spending summers in New York at Grandma and Grandpas place. It was a two bedroom trailer and grandpa had to go "up to the house" to turn the water on so we could take a bath. We played in the woods and in the old cars. We climbed the hill across the street and drank right from thw stream. We walked to the store on the corner and bought penny-candy. We built a fort back in the woods. It always makes me happy to think about those times. When she moved out here after grandpa passed and Beverly got married, I wanted to repay her a little so I visited her weekly and washed and set her hair for her. I did her nails and cleaned her apartment, whatever she needed, just to spend time with her. I will miss her deeply.
