Obituary of Pamela Joyce Smith

Pamela Joyce Smith, 71, of Zion, IL died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. She was born October 1, 1945 in Chicago and moved to Zion in the 1970's. Pamela was employed at the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL. Survivors include son David (Destiny) Smith of Antioch, IL; three grandchildren Dylan, Delaney, and Justice; and one nephew Chris Pare of Zion, IL. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Smith; brother Roger Oquist; sister Diane Pare; and her parents Egan and Helen Oquist. Services will be private for the family. Memorial donations in her memory to Kindred Kitties, 619 59th Street, Kenosha, WI 53140 have been suggested.
