Obituary of Richard Artis

Richard “Roy” Artis, 79, of Beach Park, IL, died March 19, 2017 at home. Richard was born May 10, 1937 in Wisconsin. He was a draftsman at Outboard Marine Corporation for more than 20 years. He is survived by his wife Geri Artis; daughter Tonya (Wesley) Andrews; grandson Jefferson Andrews; sister Jean Navulis; and one brother Bill (Aliex) Lystlund. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Jay Artis; wife Susie Artis; mother Jane Lystlund, and step-father Leo Lystlund. A private memorial service for family will be held at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
