Obituary of Robert Clark

Robert Clark, 77, of Beach Park, IL died on Friday, March 10, 2017 at his home. He was born August 9, 1939 in Waukegan, Il. He and his wife Annabelle met while he worked at Komatsu and married in 1975. He was a life long member of Millburn Congregational United Church of Christ. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, birdwatching, trapping, camping, woodworking, fast cars, Yahtzee ("123"), and especially taking care of his family. Survivors include his step children, Ivania (Fred) Morrill, Derald (Anita) Townsend, and Richard Kavis; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, John (JoAnn) Clark and Milton (Judy) Clark; and numerous adopted family members with special thanks to Deborah McGregor for being a special care giver and friend to Robert for all this time. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle; granddaughter, Tina Morrill; and four sisters. Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 11:00 until 12:00 p.m. at CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Pastor Jeb Watson of Millburn Congregational United Church of Christ officiating.
