Our deepest sympathies to Reba's family. Reba was a sweet lady, willing to take time to talk with you. On many walks, my young grandson and I would stop to chat with her when she was outside or tending her garden. Sure loved her bonnets. Reba always had beautiful flowers and a vegetable garden that always had enough to share. I liked to hear about our neighborhood, her family, and friends. We will truly miss seeing and talking with Reba. Reba was a ray of sunshine.

On behalf of myself and my parents John and Johnnie Fishback (now deceased, but always in my heart,) I extend my deepest heartfelt condolences to the family of 'Aunt Reba'. Reba and Dean were friends of my family and related to my mom Johnnie. I knew Reba throughout my childhood and adult life, As a child, (growing up and hanging out in my mother 'Johnnies Beauty Shop'), I would see Reba on a regular basis. I came to know the glowing personality, warmth and true religious faith of Reba. She was always sweet to me as a child and as well as an adult facing the loss of my Father and my Mother - she was their when you needed her and she was true to her convictions. God bless you in Heaven Reba! I'm sorry that I will be unable to attend her funeral.
P.S.
This is incredible, I was working on my huge family tree on my mothers' side today and for some reason I started working on Reba's family ties (Sumerford family). I actually ran a search 'on-line' as I was thinking of her - and found out about her death - the Lord works in mysterious Ways - this is True!

Bobbie and Roland Shelton and extended family send sympathies on your loss. They also send respect on a life lived with grace. Judy recalls Reba as an adopted aunt who babysat her. Judy still has fond memories of that time years past of Reba in a gray coat that Judy called the "oatmeal" coat. More recently Judy spoke with Reba about her vegetables and still has a newspaper clipping of the " garden of plenty" that Reba shared.
A donation to St. Jude's is being made in memory of Reba. Sincere wishes to all.

John 11:25-26 (NIV)
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Aunt Reba loved the Good Lord with all her heart. She was a bossy blessing to us all! I am sure she is walking the streets of gold giving Jesus advice on how to better tend the garden and arrange the flowers. Her conversations and laughter will be deeply missed, but she is forever impressioned in our hearts!
With Love and Prayers,
Helen McRae and Family
