Obituary of Ruth Cecil

Ruth Cecil, 86, of Zion, IL died November 14, 2016. She was born July 22, 1930 in Russellville, KY the daughter of the late Jasper and Irene Morehead. Ruth married the late Harold L. Cecil Sr. She is survived by her sons Darryl (Valerie) Cecil, Terrence Cecil, Dwayne (Cheryl) Cecil, Shawn (Tamara) Cecil; daughter-in-law Audrey Cecil; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; and one son Harold Jr. A visitation will take place on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A second visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Saini Baptist Church, 2401 Argonne Drive, North Chicago, IL. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Saini Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Sheridan Cemetery, Ft. Sheridan, IL.
