Joyce and Robin. I'm so sorry. I think you know Bob meant a lot to me. Professionally, he was so intelligent, competent,, thorough and wonderful to deal with. Beyond that his ethics were impeccable and I witnessed him consistently put his client's best interests above all else. He made our world a little better. I miss my friend.

There is a recent Facebook picture of my little brother Bob that grins at me out of long ago.
He is jigging up and down in his high chair, vibrating his lips while I'm trying to shovel a spoonful of Gerber's mashed beets into his mouth. "Brrrrrrrr." mashed beets everywhere, especially on my face, which looks as if it's survived the explosion of a shrapnel grenade.
Another image: Lil' brotherBob is lying on the floor doing a little kid's flailing version of the back stroke while I'm trying to change his poopy drawers." Peee-yooo," he giggles. "Pooo Pooo."
These memories might suggest he was a difficult kid. Not so. As the youngest of four brothers, his role was that of negotiator and peace maker in the midst of squabbles which seemed, at times to rise to titanic heights. That was Brother Bob up to the very end of this journey we call life. After a gnawing, painful series of cancer treatment, the nasty beast everybody thought had been routed came skulking back. Bob's first reactions seemed to be a concern for others: Joyce and Robin's state of mind, my Parkinsonian condition, Brother Noel's arthritic hip.
Now Bob is free of such duties. I see him jogging at his Run Sixty pace across a rainbow bridge. On the other side prances a beautiful horse named Bourbon who wants the give him a ride. Fluffy kitties frolic across a green lawn, meowing to be cuddled and fed. Waggy-tailed puppies prance up and down, begging to play fetch. and at the pink sunset of the celestial day, a soothing massage awaits. Sleep well, Brother Bob. Sleep well.

I am shocked and so sorry for your loss. I have not seen Bob since I left Real Estate many years ago; I did not even know he was sick and just found out today (11-11-16) that he had passed. My wife and I have both had cancer so we know how it can totally take over your family's life. My sincere condolences for your loss.

Mrs. Sabine, I only had met with Bob 4-5 times while going thru the process of selling my mother's home in an estate. He was so kind and compassionate. I had heard and quickly knew he was a hardworking honest realtor. My mother's home was sold in December of 2014. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Betty Dietz

I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We worked together in real estate for a few years but in different offices for Century 21 United. I always enjoyed Bob's company and his kind words of advice to a new, young agent. He will always be remembered and missed.

Unknowingly Bob would have no idea how much I admired him as a businessman, a family man, and realist. I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to know a person of his caliber, whom shared his life with me. I will continue to grow knowing that being healthy and putting what really matters first, then maintaining it all to you achieve a balance, which creates peace of mind.
I will miss you Bob forever and always in my heart!!

Sabine family,
I am so sorry for your loss, but happy that you find peace and comfort knowing Bob is serving a higher purpose. I remember when we first met...he help sell our home on Butrick st. In Waukegan. He made the transition to a mew home so special. His mission to make sure we were ok to move and he did that. He has so much compassion for others. Then, Scott married Cyndi. We were friends that became family. He will truly be missed..but never forgotten. Joyce, I hope you find comfort knowing he's no longer in any pain and I can only imagine how wonderful his life is now. We all love the Sabine family. Bob will truly be missed but never forgotten. Xoxoxo

My deepest condolences to you all. He was a great man and always put family first. I will never forget him coming to my fathers visitation from his passing. Bob came in and cried with me and gave me a hug. This man was fighting his own battle and was still there for me. I will now be there for you in your passing. You will be missed. Thank you for the memory.
