Obituary of Monica S. Meffen

Monica S. Meffen, 62, of Beach Park, IL died on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. Monica was born January 13, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN and has lived in this area most of her life. She was employed by SEDOL, as a teachers aid at Zion-Benton Township High School and more recently as a job coach at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago. She is survived by two children Shawn (Suzana) Meffen of Rocky Mount, NC, and James (Jackie) Meffen of Desoto, MO; four grandchildren Marina, Caitlin, Connor, and Morgan; siblings Ralph (Deb) Campbell of Oxford, MA, and Sharon (Larry) Carrier and Saundra Campbell both of Gurnee, IL; one niece Lori Carrier; and one nephew Andrew Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eleanor Campbell. Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to American Cancer Society have been suggested.
