Obituary of Jack K Ladewig

Jack K. Ladewig, 57, of Beach Park, IL passed away September 21, 2016 with family by his side. Jack was born April 11, 1959 in Waukegan, IL and attended Waukegan High School. He was a free spirited, fun loving guy who had amazing talents when it came to drawing and woodworking. He loved watching NASCAR and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He loved his family and the time he spent with them, especially talking sports with his grandson. Survivors include his children, Amanda (Ryan) Kerkman, Cari Ladewig and Kevin Ladewig; grandchildren, Carter and Kennedy Kerkman; sister, Debra Makar; nieces and nephews, Jaysen (Rachel) McPherson, Tara Makar, River, Alyssa, and Bella; and girlfriend, Wanda Thiel and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Carol Ladewig; and brother, Cary Ladewig; and grandmother, Darlene Colp. A visitation will take place Monday, September 26, 2016 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Connie Fatigato officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
