Obituary of M. Aileen Norkus

M. Aileen Norkus, 61, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Sunday September 11, 2016, at her home. Aileen was born July 3, 1955 in Chicago, IL to Bobby and Ina (Wells) Lester. She grew up in Zion, IL, and attended Zion Benton Township High School. She was employed as a C.N.A for many years, caring for people was a joy for her. She loved country music, enjoyed collecting knickknacks and porcelain dolls. She loved her plants, and had quite the green thumb. Her 12 year old cat Patches ment the world to her. She loved movies, and crime shows, but most of all loved spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, she cherished every moment she spent with them. She is survived by her children Vanessa (Mike) Dippel, of Round Lake Beach, IL, Jacqueline Dziekan of Kenosha, WI, and Shane (Candyce) Norkus, of Indiana; grandchildren, Daniel Read, Alexis Dziekan, Gavin and Evan Casillas, Marissa Roberts, Abigail and Jacob Norkus; brother Freddy (Barbara) Read; nephew Chad (Jennifer) Read, nieces Kristy and Kelly Read She is preceded in death by her parents Bobby Lester and Ina (Wells) Read The family wishes to have a private memorial service. We hope everyone she touched can remember her in their own special way. She was too young to leave us, but we take comfort in knowing she is finally home. She will be missed by so many.
