Obituary of Robert Wayne Middleton

Robert Wayne Middleton, 79, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, died August 21, 2016 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. Robert was born February 14, 1937 in Tremont, MS. He is a former resident of Zion, IL. Robert married Judith Tobin on November 29, 1960. He retired in 1984 as a general contractor. Robert was an avid Cubs, Bears, and sports fan and outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Judith; children, Patty (Mitch) Gehrig of Winthrop Harbor, Pamela (Lance) Scott of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Mike Middleton of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Kristin, Megan, Dillon, Mich Jr., Mikaela, and Dahlian; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Uriah; and siblings, Betty Hudson, Jim Middleton, and Mary Smith. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Homer and Azilee Middleton. Services will be private for the family.
