Obituary of Sara Barnhart

Sara Barnhart, 58, passed away suddenly on September 1, 2012. Sara was born in Fremont, Nebraska on May 6, 1954. She moved the Chicago area in 1979 and has lived in Zion and Beach Park, Illinois ever since. Sara was a registered nurse and worked for Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion for the last 14 years. She was a dedicated and compassionate soul. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Donald; mother, Beverly Weiman of Fremont, NE; brother Jim (Cathy) of Littleton, CO; sisters Heidi Singer of Omaha, NE, Wendy (Don) McLary of Littleton, CO, Keeley (Kevin) Macpherson of San Francisco, CA; stepsons Ben Barnhart, and Nick (Veronica) Barnhart; and five grandchildren Cole, Morgan, Collins, Breanna, and Dylan. Nephew Nick Weiman; and nieces Rachel Weiman and Lana Singer. Sara was preceded in death by her father Ken Weiman, two brothers Gilbert and Monte. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at First Christian Church 13022 Wilmot Road (Route C), Kenosha, WI. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Christian Church, or Assistance in Healthcare Foundation, P.O.
