Obituary of Debra Mitchell

Debra Lynn Mitchell passed away suddenly at home, Thursday July 28, 2016. She was born April 22, 1955 in Waukegan, IL and lived in this area all of her life. She graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1973. She was an avid softball player and dog lover. Debi is survived by her son Marc B. (Kayla Wollert) Mitchell; step-daughter Kelly (Kaniela) Aiona; parents Forrest and Lenore Williams; brother Michael (Dr. Georgia) Williams; nephew Michael Jr. (Melissa) Williams and their children Kyle and Renee; former husband Ken Mitchell; and her loyal dog, Sophie. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL on Saturday, August 6, 2016 with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon. Burial to be held afterwards at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
