Obituary of Darlene Williams

Darlene Marie Williams, born January 14, 1950, in Chicago Illinois, the daughter of John Hatch and Florence (Connelly) Hatch. She was an active founding member of Our Lady of Humility church in Beach Park, IL. She was called to her eternal rest on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Darlene grew up in Zion, IL and attended Our Lady of Humility School and graduated Carmel High School in 1968. On February 7th, 1970, she was united in marriage to J Williams at Our Lady of Humility. Darlene established her family home in Winthrop Harbor, IL, then moved to Beach Park, IL in 1983. Darlene worked at Illinois Bell as a service writer and in management. She worked as an office manager at a pediatrician’s office in Waukegan for over 25 years before she retired in 2012. Darlene is survived by her husband J; children: Megeon (Russ) Bach, Kelly (Ed) Nipple and Jason Williams; 6 Grandchildren; father John Hatch; brother John (Brenda) Hatch; and sister Debbie (Tim) Klebe. She was preceded in death by her mother Florence Hatch and brother Bill Hatch. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday August 8, 2016 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Catholic funeral will take place on Tuesday August 9, 2016 at Our Lady of Humility in Beach Park, 10655 Wadsworth Rd. Zion 60099. Viewing will be at 10 am and the mass will start at 11am. A private interment will take place in Waupaca, Wi.
