Obituary of Mary Jean Yates

Mary Jean Yates, 84, of Waukegan, IL died on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Sunrise of Gurnee. She was born February 26, 1932 in Waukegan. Mary enjoyed knitting sweaters, baby clothes, afghans, and she participated in many arts and crafts shows where she sold these items to the public. She also enjoyed traveling in the R.V. with her husband before he died in 2012. Survivors include one son Daniel (Barbara) Yates of Beach Park, IL; and one granddaughter Jessica Tamela Yates. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Yates in 2012; and by one sister Patricia. Services are private for the family. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to ASPCA (American Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals).
