Obituary of Robert Suchomel

Robert “Bob” Suchomel, 56, of Wadsworth, IL died June 10, 2016 at JourneyCare in Barrington, IL. Bob was born September 30, 1959 in Hinsdale, IL. He married Julie Elswick on July 9, 2005 in Ingleside, IL. He was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukegan and was a member of the National Electrical Estimators Association. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, photography, woodworking, and camping at national parks. Survivors include his wife, Julie (nee Elswick) Suchomel; father, James Suchomel; siblings, Kathy (Doug) Christoff, Jim (Pat) Suchomel, and Ken (Sue) Suchomel; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine (nee Vondruska) Suchomel; uncle, Howard Vondruska; and nephew Eric Suchomel. Visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3350 N Delany Rd, Waukegan, IL. Please no lilies due to allergies.
