Obituary of Dan Fielder

Dan Fielder, 55, of Winthrop Harbor, IL died on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at home. Dan was born October 28, 1956 in Waukegan, IL. For the past 21 years he was employed by MWR at Great Lakes. Dan was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs Fan and enjoyed watching the Three Stooges and the Andy Griffith Shows. Dan loved spending time in the garage and being with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Debbie; children Tammi Fielder-Pace and Ryan Fielder both of Winthrop Harbor, IL; two grandchildren Tiffany and Sabrina; siblings Jerry (Betty) Martin of Ocala, FL, Judy (Marv) Nunley of Alabama, and Carol (John) Wensch, Janet (Joe) Duncan, and Roy Martin all of Winthrop Harbor; one sister-in-law Tina Martin of Winthrop Harbor, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Barb Collins, Glen Martin, and Fred Martin; his father Doyle Martin; and his mother Evelyn "Micki" Fielder. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at the Winthrop Harbor V.F.W., 1112 Sheridan Road, Winthrop Harbor, IL. Memorial donations to American Cancer Society have been suggested.
