Would love to reach out to the family of Virginia Bleck, She was definitely a one of a Kind. I have so many of her paintings of her Mice and she even Wrote me a note when I was 22 yrs old. She said at the time that she had 9 children. 2 were married, some in college, High school & grade school. What a wonderful Woman. I didn't know this but I ended up marrying a wonderful Man from Waukegan, IL. we have been married since 4/14/2001. Boy, I sure wish I would have looked her up then. So sorry for your Loss. It's funny but at the time when she wrote me, I didn't even know what or where Waukegan was and then to marry my Husband from Waukegan and even lived there for quite some time. Wow, I just happened to come across my picture with her note attached to the back of it. Because it was hung up and I hadn't looked behind it for quite some time ...... I just happened to see it and that started me on this adventure. Again, so sorry for your loss. She was amazing and I have quite a bit of her work from the late 70's and 80's. (15 or 20 pcs) Wow, to think that she lived so close. It is unbelievable that I didn't notice that much sooner. So sorry for your loss. It would be nice to know alittle bit more about your Mom.
