Obituary of Delores A. Zorc

Delores A. Zorc, 84, of Beach Park, IL died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. Delores was born July 30, 1931 in Aberdeen, MS. She had a passion for cooking and baking and enjoyed spending time with her family while teaching them her passion. She was a devoted homemaker and later worked as a pastry cook at Waukegan High School. She is survived by her husband, Stanley; children, Stanley (Debra Graupman) Zorc Jr., and Teri (John) Kaneski; grandchildren, Amanda Kaneski and Jennifer Kaneski; brother, Bruce (Peggy) Peterson; brother-in-law, Tom Zorc; sister-in-law, Dorothy Zorc; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Frank Zorc. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville, IL.
