Joel McClain posted a condolence

I worked with Roy at Cherry Electrical for several years. He was one of the most kind hearted and decent men that I've ever had the pleasure to know. His eyes and voice always softened, whenever Liz came to see him, and their love could be felt by everyone.
When I left to come home to Texas 28 years ago, we lost contact, but he was one of the few people I never forgot. I know he's sharing the joys of heaven. I was blessed to know him.

Liz, I am so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you always have been. Please know you are loved, supported and prayed for more than you will ever know. Roy's laughter and wonderful smile will be missed and as hard as it is dealing with his loss, he will be no more pain. Much love always!

It was such a pleasure being able to know Roy and have an opportunity to work with him at the Village. His sense of humor was priceless, and his contributions to the office potlucks were heavenly! I am thankful to have had the chance to know him. He will certainly be missed. God bless you and your family Liz.
