Obituary of Laura Jane Casey

Laura Jane Casey (nee Lanee) December 19, 1955 – February 18, 2016 Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend was called to her Eternal home on February 18, 2016. Laura was the kindest, sweetest person anyone could ever know. She was a friend to anyone who had the opportunity to meet her. Her hugs would bring out the strongest emotions in anyone. Whether you needed to cry, laugh or just be comforted. One of Laura’s hugs was enough to bring sunshine to the gloomiest of days. She loved her job at Midwest Motorcoach, as a coach bus driver. She would lovingly call the passengers her “people.” When she was away on trips, she considered them her extended family. Laura’s greatest treasure in life was her family. As long as family was around, nothing in the world could make her happier. Laura will truly be missed by everyone. Laura was survived by her loving Husband, Leonard of Forty-Three years; Children: Dawn (John) and Jeff (Kris); Grandchildren: Breanna, Anthony, Allyson, Lauryn and Jacob; Brother, Ken Lanee (Martha) and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Beverley Lanee. A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at the Zion Benton Moose Lodge, 41517 N Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm with a service at 3:00 pm.
