Obituary of Raymond Fromm

Fromm, Raymond B. "Ray" 76, of Waukegan, IL, died on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Chicago, IL. Ray was born February 21, 1936 in Waukegan and married June Callam on December 13, 1958, in Waukegan. He retired from St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan in 2002 after 46 1/2 years of employment. Ray loved to fish and walk and particularly enjoyed automobile road trips. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, June; daughter, Miriam "Mimi" (former husband, Bill) Holland of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Holland, Nicole Danielle Holland, David Matthew Holland, Lisa Michelle Holland; brother, Eddie Fromm of Waukegan, IL; niece, Mary Elizabeth (Jason) McRell; two grandnephews and one grandniece; and brother-in-law, James (Lois) Callam of Springfield, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Emil and Elvira Fromm. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A Graveside Interment Service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
