Obituary of Valerie J. Conn

Valerie J. Conn (nee Robinson), 82, of Beach Park, IL died surrounded by her family December 27, 2015 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL Valerie was born August 2, 1933 in Zion, IL. She graduated from Waukegan East High School and worked for many years at Victory Hospital. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, going to the casino and fishing. She is survived by her children, Bonnie J. (Robert) Ketola, Michael (Mary Ellen) Conn, Timothy (Betty Lewis) Conn, Patrick (Mary) Conn, and Kimberly (Michael) Arnos; grandchildren, Desiree Sabine, Sommer Ketola, Heather (Brad) Tidd, Lindsay (Scott) Melrose, Michael Conn Jr., Melissa (Ryan) Anderson, Merdith Conn, Andrew Conn, Matthew Conn, Jennifer Walden, Kimberly (Brandon) Fletcher, Shannon Casey, Morgan Casey, Natalie Arnos, Charlotte Arnos, Olivia Arnos, Cassie Ortega, and Amanda Carlton; great-grandchildren, Krysten, Tiffany, Stephani, Jonny, Camren, Max, Zachary, Lucas, Sophie, and Oliver; brother, Donald (Ann) Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. Valerie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Susan Morin; Parents, Elwell and Jessie Robinson; sisters, Rhoda Edwards, Doris Olson, and Beverly Kohlman. A visitation will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 8:00 until 10:00 a.m. at CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Pineview Memorial Park, Beach Park, IL.
