Obituary of Bradley Mochel

Bradley James Mochel, 53, of Winthrop Harbor, passed away on August 7, 2012 at Vista Medical Center in Waukegan. Brad was born July 3, 1959 in Elkhart, Indiana. He graduated from Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana in 1977, then went on to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and graduated in 1981. Brad married Lorie Fabry in June of 1988. He worked for the Zion Post office for 10 years before opening Postal Connections in Kenosha Wisconsin in 2003. He enjoyed playing cribbage and tinkering with small machinery. Brad was a loyal friend, father and husband with a laid-back personality. Brad leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 24 years, Lorie; children Carrie K. Mochel, Thomas J. Mochel, and Jennifer (Brad) Kinney; Randy Abell and Heather Moon, who were like children to him; mother Onalee Mochel; brother Roger (Linda) Mochel; sister Sandra (Loren) Gutwein; and 13 nieces and nephews. Brad was preceded in death by his father James Mochel on October 26, 2007. A Visitation will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.
