Obituary of Bruce Dean Otterbacher

Bruce Dean Otterbacher, 53, of Waukegan, IL died October 14, 2015 at home. Bruce was born May 7, 1962 in Zion, IL and graduated from Zion Benton Township High School. He then attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. He enjoyed collecting antiques, was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved animals. He is survived by his mother, Marcia Otterbacher; siblings, Eric (Pat) Otterbacher, Evan (Linda) Otterbacher, Josie (Greg) Lawrence, and Greg (Laura) Otterbacher; nieces and nephews, Kelly (Adam) Hamilton, Becky Otterbacher, Scott (Dani) Otterbacher, Monica (Joel) Meyer, Matthew (Lisa) Oliver, Mark (Paula) Oliver, Mike (Jessica) Oliver, Christi Lawrence, Sam Lawrence, Brian Lawrence, Elizabeth Lawrence, Ben Otterbacher and Kayla Otterbacher; several great nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Lawrence Setnicar. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Otterbacher, and niece, Katelin Lawrence. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion.
