Obituary of Amanda Tidd

Amanda Renee Tidd, age 31, of Winthrop Harbor joined her Mother in Heaven on July 4, 2012. Amanda was born February 6, 1981 in Waukegan. She was happiest when she was with her son, Nathan. Amanda loved to play with Nathan and read to him, anyone around her could see that he was the light of her life. Amanda also loved to dance. Her smile was contagious and she loved to make people laugh. Amanda is survived by her 3 year old son, Nathan; her father Bradley (Mary) Tidd Sr of Hayward, WI; sister Tarra L. Tidd of Winthrop Harbor; brother Bradley (Heather) Tidd Jr of Beach Park; step-brother Tony Frizzo; step-sister Gina Frizzo; nephews Cory Long, Aaron Frizzo, Jonathan Tidd; nieces Alexandria Thomsen, Tiffany Tidd; Maternal Grandmother Patsy Martin of Spring Hill, Florida; Paternal Grandfather Wayne Tidd; her Aunt Brenda Welch and Uncle Larry Welch; and cousins Michael, Michelle, Steven, Nicole and Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruby L. Tidd; maternal grandfather Robert Martin and paternal grandmother Wilene Tidd. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, Illinois. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m. A grave side service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Warren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
