Obituary of LaJauan Osborne
Visitation will be Saturday, July 14, 2012, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Church, 2300 Dilleys Road, Gurnee, IL, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Joe Boerman officiating. The family requests casual attire for the services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to "Run-For-The-Son" of the Christian Motorcyclists Association have been suggested.

LaJauan "Lu" Osborne, 68, of Zion, IL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 29, 2012 surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born December 8, 1943 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and has lived in Zion most of her life. On August 3, 1962 she married Richard Osborne at Grace Missionary Church in Zion. Lu retired in 2001 from Cancer Treatment Center - Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion after 25 years. She was a member of Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) Ambassador's Chapter, ABATE of Northern Illinois and GWRRA. She was also a graduate of Zion Conservatory of Music. Lu enjoyed motorcycling with her husband Richard, crocheting baby blankets, southern gospel quartets, and was an avid reader.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years Richard "Dick," "Ozzie" Osborne; and two sons Derek Osborne of Union Grove, WI and Barry Osborne of Zion, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Larris and Annie Mae Hargett; her step-mother Pearl Hargett; and two daughters Christi Gale Osborne and Jorie Diane Osborne.
