Obituary of David Ayotte

David W. Ayotte, 75, of Zion, IL passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on April 25, 2015. David was born January 24, 1940 in Chicago, IL. He graduated from St. Mel High School in Chicago in 1957. He was a member of the airborne division of the armed forces and worked for Outboard Marine Corporation for 17 years. David was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan; three sons David Jr, Jeffrey and Gregory; and his nieces and nephew. David was preceded in death by his father and mother, Fred and Ann Ayotte; and a brother Roger. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
