I am so sorry to hear of your mom"s passing. I remember when I worked at the restaurant and how sweet she always was. She touched many lives and I will remember her fondly.

In this time of loss we will remember that Merrill is with Bert and Lora and so many other loved ones. She had many blessings in her life: all the Rooks family, grand-children (and great and great-great) and all those countless Door County sunsets. My memories of Merrill will live on.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Merrill. Our family have been friends with the Rook's-Garbett for many years. We to the opening of the Rook's Restaurant on June 6, 1946 and have been going there ever since.
