Obituary of Mona Maxine Smith

Mona Maxine Smith, 81, of Pleasant Prairie, WI died February 9, 2015 at home. She was born January 7, 1934 in Spooner, WI. Mona was a member at First United Methodist Church in Winthrop Harbor, IL. She was employed at American Motors in Kenosha. She is survived by her children, Lisa D. (Henry) Smith-Sigger, and Thomas V. Smith, both of Kenosha, Wi; grandchildren, Daniel Brandt, Cheri Smith, and Jennifer Smith; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Nancy Wagner of Kenosha, Wi; brother Darvin L. Thibedeau of Port Charlotte, FL; and many nieces and nephews. Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Smith; parents, Lawrence and Eva Thibedeau; sister, Arless Taylor; infant sister, Celeste Marie Thibedeau; brother, Gary Thibedeau; sister-in-law, Lois Thibedeau; and brother-in-law, Phil Wagner. A visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. at CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
